Augustinus Foundation

The Augustinus Foundation strengthened its communication through an involving and in-depth reputation analysis among the foundation’s key stakeholders, politicians, civil servants and award recipients.

In short

Situation

In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in commercial foundations and their socially useful work. This requires both visibility and transparency in the media and in the public – but also an awareness of one’s own responsibility and role. In connection with the foundation’s 75th anniversary in 2017, the Augustinus Foundation started a movement towards more transparency and openness in communication with the outside world. As part of formulating a clear role and direction for the fund’s stakeholders, a reputation analysis was prepared.

Solution

A process was carried out in which the Augustinus Foundation, together with Substantia, identified premises, purposes and goals to map the foundation’s reputation. The reputation analysis uncovered five areas, including (1) identity with an emphasis on professionalism, culture and quality, (2) ethics and propriety with a focus on governance , (3) leadership and role read through the foundation’s vision and strategic direction, (4) value creation with an emphasis on the foundation’s distributions in terms of relevance and effect and (5) communication with a focus on positioning in personal and relational communication.

Results

The overall outcome of the project was partly an analysis report that mapped the Augustinus Foundation’s reputation among key stakeholders and partly the facilitation of a development process that created direction and community about the role and direction of the foundation. The Augustinus Foundation strengthened its communication through an involving and in-depth reputation analysis among the foundation’s key stakeholders, politicians, civil servants and award recipients.

Description
