With 511 grocery stores spread across Denmark, Dagrofa is one of the country’s leading companies in the food market. Dagrofa owns Denmark’s largest sales and logistics company, Dagrofa Logistik and Dagrofa Foodservice, which is a leading supplier to the foodservice sector. As a growing organisation, Dagrofa’s communications department’s responsibilities have also grown, and areas such as CSR, media management, campaigns etc. require a particularly targeted effort.

Solution

The solution consisted of discussions and strategic communication advice to strengthen Dagrofa’s internal and external communication. Substantia has functioned as an additional employee for Dagrofa’s communications department when there has been a need for discussion, sharing knowledge and production of PR, CSR, internal and external digital campaigns, etc.

Results

The initiative released resources internally in Dagrofa’s communications department and ensured that the communication to the company’s stakeholders had the desired effect.

Dagrofa’s history goes back almost 250 years, when the groceries wholesale business, A/S Sophus Nielsen Svendborg, was founded. At Dagrofa, 14,000 committed employees work every day to give Danes the best food experiences.
