KAB

KAB leases and manages approx. 65,000 public housing units in the capital area. With a basic narrative, a bridge is built between KAB’s vision and values.

In short

Situation

KAB leases and manages approx. 50,000 public housing units in the capital area. KAB wanted to map its reputation with the most important stakeholders in order to gain insight into where the organisation’s communication could be improved and create more value. Based on the insights from a reputation analysis, a basic narrative was developed that builds a bridge between the organisation’s vision and values.

Solution

The reputation analysis serves as the basis for the general positioning, communication and protection of interests going forward. The word reputation focuses on legitimacy, meaning the very fundamental part of the company’s reputation that must be in place to secure KAB a relevant place in the public sector at all.

Description

Much has happened in KAB’s history since 1920, and today the organisation works with housing development in a broader sense. KAB builds, rents out and manages public and municipal housing, and provides services within energy management and construction consultancy, among other things. The organisation also performs tasks as construction manager, both for new builds and renovations, and coordinates social housing initiatives in dialogue with residents and municipalities. With approx. 65,000 public housing units in the capital region, it is Denmark’s largest administrative organisation.
