Outdoor Summit

An active outdoor life in nature creates both quality of life and well-being, and it strengthens the economy with good jobs, regional development and sustainable growth. A major challenge lies in the fact that today there is no meeting place to discuss the active outdoor life for practitioners, researchers, professional experts, decision-makers and politicians, where challenges, opportunities, synergies and recommendations can be identified and where practice and progress can be ensured. The Outdoor Summit is working on getting more children and young people to be active in nature by becoming the annual summit that brings together the various sectors and creates new knowledge, new forms of activity and new value.

In collaboration with Substantia, the Outdoor Summit developed a communication strategy and initiative that will help to intensify and strengthen the Outdoor Summit’s position and voice through, for instance, basic narrative, communication plan and PR.

The planning and implementation of the communication strategy and initiative strengthened the narrative of the Outdoor Summit, as a place that brings together the various sectors and creates new value for an active outdoor life. The initiative helped to increase awareness of the summit among stakeholders and the desired target group.
