Climate partnership for aviation

The industry association Dansk Luftfart (part of DI Transport) is a gathering point for companies that are active in Danish aviation. The association focuses on the business policy interests of its members on a national, European, and international level. As part of the association’s many efforts, they wanted to strengthen Danes’ knowledge of aviation’s green transition.

Substantias task was to create a more fact-based understanding and better support for the aviation industry’s climate transition among Danes. The focus of the communication was on how sustainable aviation is possible in practice and how we as a nation can move forward and ensure progress. Several campaign elements were developed, including a quiz, explainer video, and a new information website that served as a landing page for the campaign.

In 2022, an extensive media and information campaign targeting specific selected population groups was launched. The campaign focused on green transition and demonstrated that Denmark can lead the way and inspire the rest of the world when it comes to green aviation. The campaign was visible on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, with concurrent PR efforts in national media.
